New Media

1. New Media is characterized by anytime access to content, whenever you need it, on phones, computers, and other devices with user feedback and participation by the users.
2. New Media and Traditional Media differ because new media digitizes its content into bits, as well as real time content production, as well as more dense and compressable. They are the same because they both are used to publish, distributing, and creating media content to the community
3. Some examples of New Media could be the Internet, websites, CDs, and computer games such as Minecraft. On the other hand Traditional Media can be seen as tv channels, magazines, feature films, and other paper publications.
4. The term new media is problematic because it will be new for now but will soon be outdated when other smaller and more compressable files are created for media  useage.
5. Another name for New Media could be Digital Media.
